Downingtown Area School District

The Downingtown Area School District is a public school district in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The district operates ten Elementary Schools, three Middle Schools and three High Schools. As of 2013, the district educates approximately 12,000 students, making it the largest school district in Chester County.

The mission of the Downingtown Area School District is to educate all students to meet the challenges of a global society by providing an individually responsive learning environment characterized by outstanding academic and personal achievement in partnership with family, students and community.
