Avon Grove School District
The District is located in a rural-suburban setting 34 miles southwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and 18 miles northwest of Wilmington, Delaware. Avon Grove covers 67 square miles and consists of five townships.
As a 1:1 District, Avon Grove can trust Chesconet’s robust bandwidth and redundancy to support the thousands of Chromebooks in use every day by students and teachers. The technical expertise and in the field support that Chesconet provides far exceeds the levels previously provided to Avon Grove by a commercial ISP. Chesconet’s user groups are a valuable resource for Avon Grove. The collective knowledge of these user groups has been a valuable sounding board of best-practices regarding network changes for the District.
After a contractor damaged a fiber run at Avon Grove, Chesconet quickly dispatched a Network Manager to assess the severity of the damage and facilitate an expedient repair. Without the expertise and assistance of Chesconet the outage would have been substantially longer.
