The Southeast Center in Sharon Hill serves more than 2,500 students from its neighboring communities in Delaware County, including Collingdale, Glenolden, Lansdowne, Prospect Park, Ridley and Yeadon.
With state-of-the-art “smart classrooms” equipped with the latest technology, computer labs, a full-service learning and testing center, faculty resource room and offices and study areas, the Southeast Center offers a wide range of programs and services to assist and support students.
The campus, established in January 2004, is approximately 26,000 square feet and houses 11 general and two dedicated computer classrooms, student lounge and two study areas; a learning resource center, counselor and advisors offices; a welcome desk, security, bookstore and financial aid and cashier offices; an administrative area, faculty offices and an adjunct faculty resource room.
Students are most heavily enrolled in liberal arts, health science majors and education. A 19-credit certificate in Medical Billing can now be earned entirely at the center.
